Delete your Wheels Vault account

Wheels Vault is published on Google Play by Antonio Montana. You can delete your Wheels Vault account and the data stored with it at any time, in the app or by email. To delete some of your data and keep your account, see delete some of your data.

In the app

1. Open Wheels Vault and go to Profile.
2. Tap Account and data.
3. Tap Delete account, type DELETE and confirm.

Your account is deleted straight away.

Without the app

Email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my Wheels Vault account". Send it from the Google address you signed in with, so we can find your account. We delete it within 30 days and reply when it's done.

What is deleted

• Your account, including the email address and name from Google sign-in.
• Your backed-up vault: cars, lists, conditions, prices, dates and notes.
• Your notification push token and any car requests you sent.

The copy of your vault on your phone stays until you uninstall the app or clear its data.

What is kept, and for how long

• Database backups: deleted data can remain in our server backups for up to 7 days, then it's gone.
• Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics): kept by Google for 90 days.
• Usage statistics (Firebase Analytics): Google keeps event data for 2 months and user-level data for 14 months. They don't include your vault, email or name.
• Ad data (Google AdMob): handled under Google's retention policy. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings.

Delete some of your data, keep your account

• A car: open the car, tap Edit, then Remove from vault. To remove several, select them in Vault and tap Delete. Your other devices remove them at the next sync. Our backup keeps the removed car's record, marked as deleted, so the sync works; it's fully erased when you delete your account or ask us by email.
• Your whole backed-up vault: email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my Wheels Vault data", from the Google address you signed in with. We erase your backed-up cars, lists and notes within 30 days and keep your account. Sign out on your phones first, or the app will back the vault up again.
• Waitlist email: if you joined the early-access waitlist on this website, email us and we remove your address.
• Ad data: reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings.
